The Department of Lands and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Agriculture (DoA) is pleased to announce the availability of funds for fiscal year 2024, under the USDA Agriculture Marketing Services, Micro-Grants for Food Security Program.

The program will award grants to eligible applicants and organizations to increase the quantity of locally grown food through small scale farming, herding, and livestock operations in communities that have significant levels of food insecurity and import a significant quantity of food.

Eligible applicants must be a U.S. citizen and residing in the CNMI. Applications will be selected on a competitive basis, as recommended by the Micro-Grant Review Panel.

Applications are also available at the Division of Agriculture in Kagman, Saipan, MP. The deadline to submit applications is May 31, 2024.
